Rachel Estrada Ryan
Rachel Estrada Ryan is a creative strategist, nationally published freelance writer, visual artist, small business owner, and seasoned communications professional. She has almost two decades of experience in strategic leadership, editorial and art direction, and creative project management for artists and authors, entrepreneurs, government agencies, and organizations operating in the public, nonprofit, and private sectors of PA, NJ, and NY. Since 2003, Rachel has owned and operated MULTIRACHEL LLC. Complementing her predominantly independent work, she has also served on the boards of several community-based nonprofits, provided pro-bono support to countless educational initiatives, and has been employed in communications roles by organizations/agencies that include the City of Philadelphia, the United Way, and most recently CEO, a leading provider of reentry employment services for formerly incarcerated men and women; she served as their national director of communications from their NYC headquarters until spring 2018, when her husband completed his graduate studies. In addition to USA250, recent MULTIRACHEL clients include the renowned author and editor Daniel Menaker, playwright Anna Ziegler, Princeton startup Profit Velocity, and The Stony Brook School, a private boarding and day school. Born and raised in Union County, NJ, Rachel has since lived and/or worked in rural, suburban, and urban communities in and near Mercer and Atlantic Counties in NJ; Lower Manhattan, Harlem, and Long Island in NY; as well as the remote reaches of the Pocono Mountains, and almost every blessed inch of Philadelphia, where she attended the University of Pennsylvania and remained for more than a decade after her graduation. Rachel currently resides in south central PA with her husband Kris and their four children.
